life quotes for girls – A Girl's

A Girl's Life Online
A Girl's Life Online
Katherine Tarbox was thirteen when she met twenty-three-year-old “Mark” in an online chat room. A top student and nationally ranked swimmer attending an elite school in an affluent Connecticut town, Katie was also a lonely and self-conscious eighth-grader who craved the attention her workaholic parents couldn’t give her. “Mark” seemed to understand her; he told her she was smart and wonderful. When they set a date to finally meet while Katie was in Texas for a swim competition, she walked into a hotel room and discovered who-and what-her cyber soul mate really was.
In A Girl’s Life Online, Tarbox, now eighteen, tells her story-an eye-opening tale of one teenager’s descent into the seductive world of the Internet. Tarbox’s harrowing experience with her online boyfriend would affect her life for years to come and result in her becoming the first “unnamed minor” to test a federal law enacted to protect kids from online sexual predators.
In an age when a new generation is growing up online, Tarbox’s memoir is a cautionary tale for the Internet Age.

~~ Cathy Guisewite
Baby Girl was born Sunday May 27th at 1:04PM PDT just in time for our LIFE quote … kind of special huh?

I did a maternity shoot on Friday May 18th for my daughters, both of which are having babies in June.
Jen is due June 25th and Nickie is due June 3rd.
This will make eight grandchildren for us … wow!

Back later to add all the other stuff … enjoy!
I had a blast with this and there will be lots more to come.

"Change your thoughts and you change your world" – ever since I read Dr. Norman Vincent Peale’s quote in Chicken Soup for the Soul, I’ve been really trying to live by it. It might be hard at times, but if you keep your attitude positive & your perspective on life happy, life becomes that much more enjoyable! You Only Live Once 😀

Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Fabulous Life
It’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid for girls in this hilarious new novel!
Dork Diaries follows eighth grader Nikki Maxwell as she chronicles through text and sketches her move to a snooty new school; her epic battle with her mom for an iPhone; her enthusiasm for drawing and art; and a love/hate fascination with the new school’s queen bee, a girl named Mackenzie, who becomes Nikki’s rival in a schoolwide art competition. Nikki writes about friendships, crushes, popularity, and family with a unique and fresh voice that still conveys a universal authenticity. Nikki’s sketches throughout her diary add humor and spunk to the book, a surefire hit with tween girl readers.
